There are eight unique and varied venues playing host to 54ºN artists and guests in 2020! With a wide variety of genres spanning pop, ska, indie, folk, left-field, punk and everything in-between, we hope you can enjoy some fantastic music in some equally fantastic locations!
This 250 cap venue is old school, with a great in-house team that keeps the party going into the early hours! Bootleggers is a legendary Cumbrian music venue that has played host to rock n' roll, blues, jazz and pop greats across the years.
The Box is one of Kendal's newest venues and with a state of the art sound system, staging and lights, artists and audiences down at the Box are in for a treat! Curated by Wayne Scurrah, this will be the place to catch some of your favourite folk and blues artists!
The Brewery is one of our biggest venues with room for 400 souls to dance, listen, sing and drink the night away! With its own regular music nights, cinema, restaurant, bars and workshops, this Arts Centre is the place to catch some of the best acts in indie, pop, funk & soul.
Twinned with its own high quality brewery, Fell Bar is home to one of our smallest, yet most unique, venues. Programmed by beer and music fanatic, Ben, this spot is where you'll catch some of the most intimate and up-close-and-personal sets.
Dingo Barracks has become synonymous with good times, crazy parties and wildly passionate musicians who love to get you dancing! This programmer has been given a venue to match his notoriety and we'll see bands and DJs playing right into the wee hours here at Ruskins!
This pub is older than your great-great-great-grandma and it's pretty fine! Ye Olde Fleece is being programmed by Kieran Day who has been right through the whole Kendal Music College system and is very well connected in the area. With a 100 person capacity, this is a great place for some toe-tapping and great beer too!
With great beer, high-octane bands and a central location by the river in The Auld Grey Town, The Barrel House is going to kick off! With Strange Weather productions in charge of your line up, it's sure to be a highlight!
This venue is about diversity! The promoters will be bringing unique and unusual sounds to Kendal.
Strange Weather Promotions came together after realising that their local music scene was lacking in diversity and they wanted something new and alternative. SWP will be curating this quirky old-school venue, bringing comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, poetry and live music to the festival!
